In a disturbing incident at the famous Khatu Shyam Temple in Rajasthan, a three-year-old boy was abducted by an unidentified man who lured two women visiting from Bhopal. The man allegedly gained their trust and later escaped with the child, prompting an immediate police investigation.
According to police, the suspect first met the women at the Jaipur Railway Station while they were en route to the Khatu Shyam Temple. Engaging them in friendly conversation, he claimed to be headed to the same religious destination. The group then traveled together to the temple in Sikar district.
Upon arrival, the man reportedly told the women that due to heavy crowds inside the temple, they should go ahead for the darshan (religious viewing), and he would look after the child. Trusting his words, the women proceeded into the temple, only to find the man and the child missing upon their return.
Ranoli Police Station in-charge Rajesh Kumar Budhaniya said that the incident may be linked to a gang involved in child trafficking or begging rackets. The boy is three years old, and a statewide alert has been issued. Multiple police teams have been deployed to trace the child and apprehend the suspect.
Authorities have urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any sightings that could aid in locating the missing child.
