Young Man Dies by Suicide in Jaipur: Shoots Himself with Illegal Pistol, Was Suffering from Serious Illness



Jaipur:A 34-year-old man ended his life by shooting himself with an illegal pistol at his residence in Jaipur on Monday afternoon. The man was reportedly struggling with a severe illness for the past two years, which is believed to have led to the tragic act.

The incident occurred around 3 PM in the Narayan Sarovar area under the jurisdiction of Muhana Police Station. According to SHO Guru Bhupendra Singh, the deceased, Ravindra Upadhyay, originally hailed from Karauli and had been living with his parents in Jaipur.

At the time of the incident, his parents were asleep in the hall. Ravindra approached them and, without warning, shot himself in the temple with an illegal firearm. The gunshot jolted the parents awake, who found their son lying in a pool of blood.

Muhana police arrived at the scene shortly after being informed. The body was sent to the hospital mortuary for post-mortem examination. No suicide note was recovered, and police have seized the illegal weapon.

Authorities are currently investigating how the deceased acquired the firearm and whether any external factors were involved.
