A series of development projects have been approved under the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Rural Development Scheme, following the recommendation of Janjgir-Champa MLA Bias Kashyap. The sanctioned works aim to improve infrastructure in several village panchayats of Nawagarh block.
The approved initiatives include the construction of Nirmala Ghat at the government pond in Sukli village, with an allocation of ₹5.20 lakh. In Avarid village, ₹5.20 lakh has been approved for constructing a concrete (CC) road from the main road to the canal and to the house of a local resident, Madan.
Similarly, ₹5.20 lakh has been allotted for CC road construction in Bhaisda village. Jagmahant village will receive ₹6.50 lakh for the construction of a new community hall. A CC road from Ashok Singh’s farm to the village school has been approved at a cost of ₹10.40 lakh.
In Bodsara village, ₹15.60 lakh has been sanctioned for the construction of a CC road connecting the village to Hathi Tikra. A road from the local settlement to Arvind Sahu’s house in Banari village will be built with ₹5.20 lakh. In Amoda village, ₹10.40 lakh has been allotted for a road from Balbhadra’s house to Mahavir Chowk.
Additionally, ₹10.40 lakh has been approved for a road leading from the main road to the Mahamai Dai temple in Semra village. In Bargaon village, ₹5.20 lakh will be used to build a road from the house of Jawahar Turkni to the middle school.
The total value of these sanctioned development works exceeds ₹89 lakh. The announcement has been met with great enthusiasm by the local residents, who have extended their heartfelt gratitude to MLA Bias Kashyap for his efforts in bringing vital infrastructure improvements to their communities.
