Jaipur: A Dubai-bound Air India Express flight from Jaipur was
cancelled on Monday morning following a last-minute technical snag in the
cockpit, just moments before takeoff. The flight, IX-195, was scheduled to
depart at 5:30 AM but was delayed by approximately 30 minutes and had reached
the taxiway by 6:00 AM when the pilot detected a technical issue.
Acting swiftly, the pilot alerted the Air Traffic Control
(ATC) and returned the aircraft from the runway to the apron area. The plane
had 130 passengers on board, all of whom were kept seated inside the aircraft
while engineers attempted to resolve the issue.
Despite nearly five hours of effort to rectify the problem,
the malfunction could not be fixed. At around 11:15 AM, the airline officially
cancelled the flight.
Air India Express has confirmed that full refunds will be
issued to all affected passengers. The incident caused significant
inconvenience and frustration among travelers, who had to remain inside the
aircraft for an extended period without clarity on alternate arrangements.
