Sachin Pilot takes a sharp jibe: BJP’s double-engine government is only spreading smoke, makes pointed remark on 'Operation Sindoor'

Sachin Pilot Slams BJP: "Double-Engine Government Only Creating Illusion, Ground Reality Is Zero" – Raises Questions on ‘Operation Sindoor’

On the second day of his tour in the Tonk assembly constituency, local MLA and former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Sachin Pilot, held direct dialogues with the public and launched a fierce attack on both the BJP-led state and central governments.

He said, “The BJP’s so-called double-engine government is all show with no substance. There is no real development on the ground. Even the projects initiated during our tenure are being neglected. The public is suffering due to bureaucratic arbitrariness and the helplessness of ruling party leaders.”

Public Hearings and Immediate Orders

Pilot began his day with a public hearing at the Circuit House, where a large number of people brought forward their grievances. He instructed officials present to take immediate action and said, “Listening to the public and solving their issues should be the government's priority, not struggling to hold on to power.”

Criticism of ‘Operation Sindoor’ and Ceasefire

During a media interaction, Pilot heavily criticized the recently launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ and the announced ceasefire with Pakistan.
He stated, “The same day the ceasefire was announced, within hours there was shelling and firing from across the border. Trusting ceasefire promises from a country like Pakistan, whose global credibility is in tatters, is a mistake.”

“Comparing India with Pakistan is Ridiculous”

Pilot emphasized that India’s economy is 11 times larger than Pakistan’s, and any comparison between the two is “deeply unfortunate and completely baseless.”
He added that “India needs to strategize with caution and maturity—not with emotional slogans and announcements.”

“State Government Busy Pleasing Delhi High Command”

Taking aim at the Rajasthan government, Pilot said, “The entire administration is busy either fighting for power or trying to please their bosses in Delhi. Bureaucrats are dominating the system, and development schemes are stuck on paper. There’s no one to listen to the pain of the common man. Even senior leaders in power are now wandering helplessly.”

Pilot’s remarks have stirred political discourse in Rajasthan, signaling intensified opposition pressure as public discontent rises over governance and policy decisions.
