Shri Jagannath Bhagwan Rath Yatra Festival begins, women apply Jagannath Mehndi on their hands

 Ajmer: The ten-day Lord Shri Jagannath Bhagwan Rath Yatra Festival started on Thursday with the Jagannath Mehndi Festival under the aegis of Shri Jagannath Bhagwan Rath Yatra Festival Committee and Shri Agarwal Panchayat Marwari Chota Dhada Janakpuri Ganj. A large number of women participated enthusiastically in the Jagannath Mehndi Festival organized in Janakpuri and applied Jagannath Mehndi on their hands. Women enjoyed a lot in many games including Housie competition and chair race. Also, they set the stage on fire by performing a captivating dance on the bhajans of Lord Jagannath. Jivisha Agarwal got the first prize in the Mehndi competition, Sakshi Agarwal got the second prize and Shashi Agarwal got the third prize. Shri Jagannath Bhagwan Rath Yatra Committee President Sanjay Kandoi, Fair Convenor Harish Bansal, Vinod Didwania, Ashok Gujarati, Prahlad Garg, Laxminarayan Bansal, Jyoti Swaroop and Govind Narayan Dani honored the women who were winners of the Jagannath Mehndi Utsav by giving gifts and consolation prizes to the women participating in the festival.
