Cleans temple pond ghats and plants trees under ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign
Bharatpur:As part of the Vande Ganga Water Conservation Campaign, MLA Dr. Shailesh Singh participated in a special water worship ceremony (jal poojan) on Monday at the historic Lala Wale Kund located on Kaman Road. In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative, he also planted a tree under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign, which encourages tree plantation in honor of one’s mother.
The event featured Vedic rituals conducted by Pandit Jitendra Parashar and Ganesh Dutt Parashar, and included a clean-up drive at the pond's ghats, with the MLA himself actively taking part.
In his address, Dr. Singh highlighted the achievements of the Modi government over the past 11 years. He emphasized that schemes like Ayushman Bharat, Jan Dhan Yojana, and Make in India have significantly contributed to national development and have benefitted every section of society, especially the poor.
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including Municipal Council Chairman Niranjan Lal Taksaliya, Commissioner Kuldeep Singh, BJP City Mandal President Lalit Tiwari, and Rural Mandal President Rakesh Girsae. Other notable attendees included Giridhari Lal Gupta, Brijesh Agrawal, Jagdish Ajan, Advocate Anil Kumar, and Bhavana Gandhi, among others.
