Panihati Chida Dahi Festival Celebrated at Jaipur’s Gupt Vrindavan Dham

Madan Rathore receives blessings of Krishna-Balaram; visits Akshaya Patra kitchen

Jaipur :A vibrant celebration of the Panihati Chida Dahi Utsav was held on Monday at the Gupt Vrindavan Dham in Jaipur. On this auspicious occasion, BJP Rajasthan State President Madan Rathore visited the temple, received the blessings of Lord Krishna and Balaram, and participated in the festivities.

To mark the summer season, a special water recreation ceremony (Jal Vihar) was performed for the deities Krishna and Balaram. A variety of Chida Dahi (flattened rice with curd) offerings were made to the deities, along with a spirited session of sankirtan (devotional chanting).

Madan Rathore extended his best wishes to the temple management for their outstanding contributions to devotion and social service. He also gathered information about the Gupt Vrindavan Dham, known as Rajasthan’s largest temple and cultural center, and inspected the Akshaya Patra community kitchen, which serves thousands of meals daily.

The event also featured a palki (palanquin) procession of Lord Gaur Nitai, during which devotees chanted the Hare Krishna Mahamantra with great fervor. A grand abhishek (ceremonial bathing) of Gaur Nitai was performed, followed by a Jal Vihar (water outing) conducted by temple devotees.
