Resolution Taken to Celebrate the Festival in a Peaceful and Harmonious
Atmosphere

In preparation for the upcoming Muharram festival and other religious events, a
district-level peace committee meeting was convened on Tuesday at the
District Collectorate auditorium. The meeting, aimed at ensuring communal
harmony and peaceful celebration, was chaired by District Collector Mr.
Kamal Ram Meena.
The gathering saw the presence of Superintendent of
Police Mr. Shyam Singh, Additional District Collector Mr. Mohanlal
Khatnawalia, Additional Superintendent of Police and Committee
Member-Secretary Mr. Bhupendra, Sub-Divisional Officer Mr. Divyansh
Singh, all police station in-charges, administrative officers, and a large
number of community representatives.
Key topics discussed included Muharram preparations,
law and order measures, traditional Tazia procession routes, scheduled
timings, security arrangements, and strategies to uphold communal harmony
throughout the district.
22 Tazias to be Taken Out Across the District
Additional Superintendent of Police Mr. Bhupendra informed attendees that licenses
are being issued for 22 Tazias this year. He detailed the procession
routes, timings, legal protocols, and urged full cooperation from Taziadars
and community members to ensure smooth execution of the processions.
Festivals Reflect Brotherhood and Unity – District
Collector
In his address, District Collector Mr. Meena highlighted Beawar's tradition of communal
harmony and mutual respect. "It is our joint duty to protect the
spirit of unity during religious occasions. Festivals spread the message of
peace, discipline, and brotherhood," he stated, encouraging tolerance
and cooperation from all citizens.
Be Vigilant and Responsible – Superintendent of Police
Superintendent of Police Mr. Shyam Singh emphasized the need for heightened
alertness during the festivities. He reminded all license holders and
citizens of their individual responsibilities to maintain peace and
strictly follow the issued guidelines and instructions.
Administrative Instructions Issued
Discussions also addressed essential logistical issues such as cleanliness,
electric and cable wire safety, lighting arrangements, drinking water
availability, deployment of fire-fighting vehicles, police force presence, traffic
regulation, parking solutions, route diversions, and proper signage.
All departments were directed to ensure timely and efficient implementation of
these arrangements.
CLG Meetings to be Conducted at Local Level
In a proactive move, police station in-charges were instructed to conduct City
Level Group (CLG) meetings in their respective jurisdictions to address and
resolve local concerns before the festival.
Joint Appeal for Peace and Cooperation
The meeting concluded with a collective appeal from both the district
administration and police officials, urging all communities to conduct
their events peacefully, lawfully, and with full cooperation.
Emphasis was placed on preserving the social fabric of unity and brotherhood
during the festive season.
